PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a liquid crystal display easily and sufficiently in yield in which viscosity of a liquid crystal is suppressed low, and enhancement of a response speed, especially in halftone are attained, by using a liquid crystal material most suitable for a dropping injection method, while measuring and controlling precisely an amount of dropping of the liquid crystal by the dropping injection method. SOLUTION: A sealant 21 is applied so that a starting point 31a and terminal point 31b of sealant application are located out of a frame pattern, targeting at the liquid crystal display in which the frame pattern is formed by applying the sealant 21 to a peripheral part of an image display area provided on one of a pair of substrates (substrate 22), the respective substrates are stuck together by dropping the liquid crystal into the frame pattern, and the sealant 21 is cured.
