PURPOSE: A connector is provided to detect a state of a mounted electronic component suitably even when peeled fragments of a casing of the electronic component are generated. CONSTITUTION: Detection units(160A,160B) detect whether a memory card is completely mounted in a receiving part(102) or whether data can be written in the memory card. The detection units have a fixed terminal and a movable terminal(161). A card contact part(163a) arranged within the receiving part is pressed by the memory card. A movable contact part is contacted to the fixed terminal so as to be conducted. A partition part(190) isolates a contact area with the fixed terminal of the movable contact part from a contact area with the memory card of the card contact part.
