<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing of an epoxy compound comprising oxidizing an electron deficient carbon-carbon double bond to convert it into an epoxide that uses a basic solid powder easy to recycle and use and having a light environmental load, is carried out in a solid phase permitting ready recovery and reuse of the solid powder, is highly safe and gives an excellent yield. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing of an epoxy compound includes dispersing a compound bearing an electron deficient carbon-carbon double bond and sodium percarbonate in the basic solid powder and selectively oxidizing the electron deficient carbon-carbon double bond in a solid phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
