<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for a fuel cell capable of widening an allowable temperature range and a selection range of ion-exchange resin of the cooling system by getting rid of abnormal heating of the ion-exchange resin stored in an ion exchanger and properly maintaining an ion-exchange function and preventing thermal deterioration of the ion-exchange resin. <P>SOLUTION: Circulation piping 12 of a coolant is connected with the fuel cell 11, and a pump 13 and the heat exchanger 14 are connected with the circulation piping 12. A bypass piping 17 is connected with the pump 13 in parallel, and the ion exchanger 18 is connected with the bypass piping 17. An electron cooling element 25 is connected with the bypass piping 17 at an upstream side of the ion exchanger 18. The coolant supplied to the ion exchanger 18 by the electron cooling element 25 is cooled at designated temperature in order to prevent abnormal heating of the ion-exchange resin 21 by the coolant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
