<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a query derivation device capable of deriving a character, a title or attribute information about content on the basis of an arbitrary query, and a related query derivation method and program. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 includes: a feature word extracting part 14 for extracting a character name appearing in the content, the title of the content and the attribute information of the content from sentence information on the content; a storing part 15 for associating the extracted information with content identification information to store them; a determining part 16 for determining whether the character name, the title or the attribute information is included in a retrieval query when receiving the query; and a deriving part 17 for deriving the attribute information from a query showing the character name or the title, the character name or the title from a query showing the attribute information, and another piece of attribute information from the query showing a portion of the attribute information as new query. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
