<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an image forming unit including at least a part of an image forming means like a unit is supported by a frame so as to be inserted in and removed from the frame, the image forming apparatus suppressing the wear of a positioning part for regulating a position of the image forming unit in the frame. <P>SOLUTION: The inclined surface 511 and flat surface 512 of a blind hole 510 formed in a lock member 500 are disposed above the lower wall surface 211a of the support shaft through-hole 211 of a sheet-metal frame 210, when the lock member 500 is moved up by the opening of a door 400. At this time, the top end of the projection part 513 of the blind hole 510 is disposed above the upper wall surface 211b of the support shaft through-hole 211. Even if the image forming unit 350 is attached with full force, when the door 400 is opened and the image forming unit 350 is attached and detached, the support shaft 352 does not directly abuts on the lower wall surface 211a, so that the wear of the support shaft and the lower wall surface is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
