<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control device of a hybrid vehicle for improving fuel consumption in congestion. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 100 of a hybrid vehicle is mounted on a hybrid vehicle 10 equipped with: an internal combustion engine 200; and motor generators MG1 and MG2 which can be driven by a battery 500, and which can charge the battery 500. In such circumstances that the increase of a vehicle request output Pe is predicted while the hybrid vehicle 10 is traveling in congestion section, the driving frequency of the internal combustion engine 200 is increased. Therefore, it is possible to increase the chance of the charging of the battery 500 while the vehicle is traveling in a congestion section. On the other hand, it is possible to secure the chance of the execution of EV traveling by preventing the driving frequency of the internal combustion engine 200 from being increased during the traveling in a non-congestion section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
