<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary air supplying device 4 in which condensed water generated therein can be easily discharged to the sides of exhaust passages 2b, and 6 regardless of an installed location of a valve device 23, and defects, as in the conventional example, can be eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary air supplying device 4 includes a secondary air supplying passage 21 for leading secondary air to upstream from a catalyst 10 of exhaust passages 2b and 6 of an internal combustion engine, an air pump 22 arranged upstream of the secondary air supplying passage 21 and for sucking ambient air as needed and sending out the air to downstream of the secondary air supplying passage 21, a valve device 23 for opening and closing the secondary air supplying passage 21, a reservoir part 15 for condensed water, arranged between the valve device 23 and the exhaust passages 2b and 6 in the secondary air supplying passage 21, and a sending means 16 for sending the condensed water inside the reservoir part 15 to the side of the exhaust passages 2b and 6 along with secondary air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
