<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit or prevent a roller 53 and a cam 18 from unevenly wearing even if the roller 53 of a roller lifter 50 is inclined, in a plunger type high pressure fuel pump 4 for pressure-feeding fuel to a fuel injection valve 6 equipped on an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The roller lifter 50 receiving rotation of the cam 18, reciprocating and linearly displacing a plunger 23 is disposed at an outer end of the plunger 23. The roller 53 on which the cam is abutted is rotatably supported by a lifter body 51 of the roller lifter 50. A convex full crowning is formed on one of an outer circumference surface of the cam 18 and an outer circumference surface of the roller 53, and a concave full crowning having a shape corresponding to the convex full crowning is formed on another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
