<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water entry preventing properties and noise entry preventing properties of an extrusion molded weather strip having a core material secured to a flange of the peripheral edge of a vehicle body opening such as an automobile door, a trunk, a back door or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The extrusion molded article having the core material is achieved by forming the core material 6 of substantially U-shape cross section in its longitudinal direction, and a coating layer having a hollow seal part 2 composed of rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, and by integrally forming a soft press-contact part 4 forming a hollow part 5 inside of the substantially U-shape cross section of the core material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
