<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a cobalt from aqueous chloride solution containing the cobalt and alkaline-earth metal, wherein the load in a facility cost is low and an agent cost is low. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering the cobalt from the aqueous chloride solution containing the cobalt and the alkaline-earth metal comprises the following (1) and (2) processes. (1) In the aqueous chloride solution, the PH is adjusted to 7.5-9.0 by adding a neutralizing agent to form slurry composed of a sediment containing the cobalt. (2) In the slurry, the PH is adjusted to 6.0-7.0 by adding the neutralizing agent while adjusting an oxidation-reduction potential (Ag/AgCl electrode criteria) to≥450 mV by adding an oxidant, to recover cobalt hydrate (III) deposits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
