<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen treatment apparatus capable of efficiently removing a solid component from sewage. <P>SOLUTION: A screen residue degradation apparatus comprises: a sewage tank 39 which receives sewage containing the solid component; a bar screen unit 9 which collects the solid component from sewage in the sewage tank; a degradation tank 6 which receives and degrades the collected solid component; and an oil/water separation tank 8 which separates oil content from water content remaining after the degradation in the degradation tank and discharges the water content. The degradation tank comprises a treatment tank body which is provided with a semi-cylindrical bottom plate 27 with degradation-treated water passage holes having a large number of passage holes and agitation vanes 25 disposed rotatably in a space of the treatment tank body, wherein the solid component received in the space of the processing tank body is agitated by the agitation vanes 25 and is degraded by aerobic micro-organisms. Under the degradation tank 6, there are provided a water storage tank 7 which causes the water content produced by the degradation to pass through the passage holes of the bottom plate 27 and receives the water content thereinto, and diffuser pipes 32 for aeration which supply air bubbles into stored water and aerate the interior of the degradation tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
