<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-melting device which is installed in an edge-of-eaves section of a roof in snow coverage regions, and which can cope with the slip-drop weight of snow applied to the whole device depending on the pressure of snow coverage, and the slant and length of the roof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a body 1 in which approximately right triangle-shaped supporting members 2 composed of a horizontal rod portion 3, a vertical rod portion 4 and an inclined rod portion 5 are arranged at both right and left side ends of the whole section, and in an intermediate location therebetween, respectively, horizontal rods 8 and 8' at upper and lower front ends are laid between corner portions of the right and left vertical rod portions and a corner portion of the horizontal rod portion, and between the corner portions of the right and left vertical rod portions and a corner portion of the inclined rod portion, respectively; a front-side horizontal rod 10 is laid between the respective horizontal rod portions of the supporting member with a space portion 9 in between in the rear of the lower-front-end horizontal rod of them; a corrugated plate material 13 is installed between the front-side horizontal rod and a back-end horizontal rod 11 laid between back ends of the respective horizontal rod portions of the supporting member; latching rods 14 and 14, the base ends of which are fitted and fixed in optionally corrugated positions of the corrugated plate material, are protrusively provided ahead of the space portion; and a net body 16 overcoats the periphery of the whole supporting member which is constituted through the above steps.
