<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle power supply apparatus which always detects fault of a standby system or in a short time and enables the standby system to be at a standby in normal states, at all times. <P>SOLUTION: Inverters 4a and 4b and inverter control parts 7a and 7b have identical structure. When the inverter 4a, the inverter control part 7a and open-close switches 5a and 6a are set as active devices, and the inverter 4b, the inverter control part 7b and open-close switches 5b and 6b as standby devices, the change-over switches 5a and 6a are turned on, to allow the inverter 4a to perform normal operation. Meanwhile, the inverter control part 7b respectively turns on the change-over switch 5b and turns off the open-close switch 6b, to make the inverter 4b operate and detect the fault of the standby-side device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
