<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost by reducing work for scraping a ceramic insulating layer 6 without hindering performance of an electrolytic corrosion preventive insulated rolling bearing. <P>SOLUTION: As an inner ring 2 for an electrolytic corrosion preventive insulated rolling bearing, an inner ring 2 formed with a finished surface in an outer peripheral surface 7 thereof and formed with recessed parts 10 and 10 in a connection part between both axial end surfaces 9 and 9 and the outer peripheral surface 7 over the whole circumference is used. An insulating layer 6 is formed by positioning ends of the insulating layer 6 in both the recessed parts 10 and 10 to prevent the edge of the insulating layer 6 from being protruded outward in the radial direction in comparison with the outer peripheral surface 7. Thereafter, finishing is performed to the surface of the insulating layer 6 coating an inner peripheral surface 12 of the inner ring 2 and both the axial end surfaces 9 and 9, considering the outer peripheral surface 7 as a standard, without scraping the ends of the insulating layer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
