<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile head handling method in a cast-in-place concrete pile construction method for dispensing with the work such as excavation after constructing a concrete pile and chipping of a pile head part or the like and forming a cylindrical concrete part simultaneously with the construction of the cast-in-place concrete pile to simplify work process and reduce cost of construction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This pile head handling method includes a process for constructing a cage provided with a reinforced cage 7 attached to the outer periphery of the head part 3a as the cage in a pile hole, a process for letting a crest face of placed concrete 12 agree with a designed pile head level A substantially in the pile hole before the placed concrete 12 is hardened to expose the head part 3a of the cage and the reinforced cage 7 above the designed pile head level A, and a process for arranging a cylindrical form 13 between the exposed head part 3a of the cage and the reinforced cage 7, placing concrete 14 at the outer periphery, and forming the cylindrical concrete part for forming a recessed space on its inner side.
