PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a lighting system composed of a plurality of lighting apparatus, such that the lighting apparatus respectively emit light in the arrangement order so as to allow each light-emitting operation to have a time interval therebetween. SOLUTION: The lighting system 100 includes a plurality of lighting apparatus 1, 2, 3, ... arranged along a line, and a remote control 20. Each lighting apparatus is configured such that only the lighting apparatus adjacent to each other are communicable with each other by a receiving part 12 and a transmitting part 13. The remote control 20 includes a transmitting part 22 that transmits a communication signal (s) reaching only the lighting apparatus 1 at the head of the line of the lighting apparatus. The communication signal (s) includes information regarding the light-emission modes of the lighting apparatus and information regarding latency between the reception and the transmission. Each lighting apparatus emits light in the light-emission mode based on the information included in the communication signal (s) and transmits the communication signal (s) to the adjacent lighting apparatus after the elapse of a prescribed latency. By this, each lighting apparatus 1, 2, 3, ... emits light in turn so as to allow each light-emitting operation to have a time interval therebetween. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
