摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET apparatus for improving a S/N ratio of an image by suppressing the effect of random coincidence (random) during emission imaging even if a time window cannot be narrowed by using a radiation detecting element as a semiconductor detecting element without a sufficiently-short temporal resolution. SOLUTION: The nearest event relative to a central axis of an opening is selected among a plurality of the events within a detected event group identifying area 73 detected by a radiation detector within a detector area 4B. An estimated scattering angle related to the event and an angular error of the estimated scattering angle are estimated based on detected energy of the event and a detected energy error. It determines whether a detected position of the event is an initial scattering position or not based on the detected position of the event, the estimated scattering angle and the angular error.
