PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a toner by which a toner having uniform particle sizes can be produced stably by preventing aggregation among toner particles. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a toner, a dissolved or dispersed liquid obtained by dissolving or dispersing a toner material containing at least a binding resin and a pigment into a solvent is jetted as droplets 23 from a head 2a with a plurality of holes provided at a part of a vessel storing the dissolved or dispersed liquid, and the jetted droplets are dried and solidified, thereby obtaining the toner. Wherein, the jetted droplets 23 are transported by transport air flow 8 having a higher flow velocity than the free fall velocity of the droplets, thus the aggregation among the toner particles can be prevented.
