PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a conveying belt from meandering due to a meandering force and from being broken as a result, without providing a member dedicated for applying a prescribed regulation force to the conveying belt. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a circular conveying belt stretched on a plurality of stretch rollers, for attracting and conveying a sheet material; and an attraction roller for electrostatically attracting the sheet material onto the conveying belt by charging the sheet material placed on the conveying belt. A rib projecting inward is formed on one end of the conveying belt, on the inner circumferential surface of the conveying belt. A flange with a recessed part to be engaged with the rib formed on the outer circumferential surface is provided on the end of at least one of the plurality of stretch rollers. The attraction roller is arranged opposite to one stretch roller and the flange so as to hold the conveying belt and the rib together with one stretch roller and the flange, among the stretch rollers provided with the flange.
