<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables a receiver to more surely grasp the content of an electronic mail which a transmitting person desires the receiving person to open. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A transmitting person strongly desires to transmit an electronic mail, into whose main text a character string to which a range is designated by marking with the brackets "(punctuation marks: " and ")", is inserted to transmit it, when the transmitter transmits the electronic mail whose content the transmitter eagerly desires a receiver to grasp. A communication terminal device, which receives and displays the electronic mail, requests a user to input the character string. When the user inputs a character string which agrees with the character string concerned, the electronic mail is regarded as the opened mail.
