<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notice broadcast system changing various kinds of settings easily and rapidly by changing the settings in a receiver by a signal from a center side. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a notice broadcast system 1, a center device 10 for transmitting a notice broadcast signal is connected to the receiver 20 for receiving the notice broadcast signal via a transmission line 42. The center device 10 includes a setting change signal transmission section 18a for transmitting a setting change signal for indicating a change in the setting information of the receiver 20 to the receiver 20 via the transmission line 42. The receiver 20 includes a memory 29 in which the setting information is stored, and a setting information change section 30a for changing the setting information stored in the memory 29, based on the setting change signal transmitted from the setting change signal transmission section 18a.
