<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line drawing tool which always maintains an appropriate amount of powdered chalk adhering to a string. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The line drawing tool 1 has a reel 3, the string 4 wound on the reel 3, a marking powder charge layer 7 provided in a marking powder storage chamber 12, and a stopper 8 attached to the distal end of the string 4.
