PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold which achieves the prolonged service life of a mold when manufacturing a molded product through a semi-melting die casting method or a semi-solid die casting method, and a method for manufacturing for a molded product. SOLUTION: A mold 82 is provided with a first groove part 821 and a second groove part 822. The first groove part extends from the central part to the outer peripheral part with a constant length or a constant width.
