<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an accurate distance to each of a plurality of moving objects even when the moving objects are close to each other. <P>SOLUTION: An object detection ECU 1 includes: a time determining section 106 that determines whether or not a delay time corresponding to each moving object can be specified on the basis of a rough determination search function and a precise determination search function; an image acquiring section 108 for acquiring an image including a plurality of moving bodies via a stereo camera 23; a function correcting section 112 that corrects the rough determination search function and the precise determination search function corresponding to an object hard to specify of a moving object of which the delay time is determined not to be specified on the basis of the acquired image when it is determined that the delay time is not specified; a delay time specifying section 113 that specifies a delay time corresponding to the object hard to specify on the basis of the corrected rough determination search function and precise determination search function; and a distance calculating section 114 that obtains a distance to the object hard to specify on the basis of the specified delay time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
