PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall-off of a bolt in a rotary electric machine in which a bracket and a brush holder unit are fixed together with a bolt, and the open end portion of a yoke is abutted against the bracket for fixation. SOLUTION: A fitting piece 8f is projectingly formed on the outer circumference of the brush holder unit 8 so as to oppose the yoke abutting face 9e of a bracket 9 outer diameter portion, and the fitting piece 8f and the bracket 9 are fastened together with a second fixing bolt 11 screwed into from a yoke arrangement side, making the head portion 11a of the second fixing bolt 11 opposed to the flange portion 2e formed at the opening end portion of the yoke 2.
