<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent remaining of a delivered medium by stabilizing attitude of a member for striking the medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The medium delivery device (U3) is provided with the medium striking member (31) rotatably supported on a rotation shaft (7) of a medium delivery member (Rh2) for delivering the medium (S) to a medium delivery part (TRh2), i.e., the medium striking member (31) moved to an upper delivery position while contacting with a surface of the medium (S) during when the medium (S) is delivered by the medium delivery member (Rh2), moved to a medium striking position downward rotated from the delivery position in a thickness direction of the medium (S) after a rear end in a medium conveying direction of the medium (S) is passed, and dropping off the medium to the medium delivery part (TRh2) by striking the rear end in the medium conveying direction of the medium (S).
