<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate applying a seal ring over a cover tube of an internal-combustion engine composed of the tip end 5a of the cover tube 5 with a built-in igniter plug penetrated through a head cover 6 against a cylinder head 1 and projected on the top surface and the seal ring 9 made of soft elastomer applied over the cover tube at the part of the head cover where the cover tube penetrates. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An axially projected section 10 is integrally installed on at least a part along the periphery direction at the tip end of the cover tube and a downward slope surface 11 from the top surface 10a of the projected section are provided on both right and left sides of the projected section along the periphery.
