<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space rubber for fixing mold, which can maintain rubber elasticity even when it is subjected to repeating hysteresis at a high vulcanization temperature and a low dry ice temperature and can hold its strength (crack resistance). Ž<P>SOLUTION: The space rubber for fixing mold is composed of a rubber composition containing 40-60 pts.mass of a carbon black, 5-10 pts.mass of castor oil, 3-10 pts.mass of a thermosetting resin, 3-10 pts.mass of zinc white, and 0.1-2 pts.mass of a lubricant per 100 pts.mass of a rubber component comprising 90-95 mass% of butyl rubber and 5-10 mass% of chloroprene rubber.
