PURPOSE: A data input circuit in semiconductor memory apparatus is provided to improve the area efficiency by reducing the number of devices. CONSTITUTION: The DBI control means(10) latches the DBI set signal. The DBI control means generates the normal strobe signal and DBI strobe signal in response to data input strobe signal from the arranged DBI set signal as described above. The data input means(20) latches input data. The data input means transfers the arranged input data in response to data input strobe signal, the normal strobe signal and DBI strobe signal to the core circuit(30). The normal strobe signal and DBI strobe signal the pulse signal thing same like data input strobe signal.
