SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HALTING MOTION OF AIR CLEANER USING PULSE SIGNAL OF BRUSHLESS DIRECT CURRENT MOTOR

PURPOSE: A system for promptly halting the motion of an air cleaner using a pulse signal and a method thereof are provided to halt the operation of the air cleaner in case foreign materials are contacted to a fan equipped on the air cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A system for promptly halting the motion of an air cleaner using a pulse signal includes a control part(300). The control part has the following: a pulse signal detecting part(310) detecting pulse signals generated by a BLCD motor equipped on the pulse signal; a time checking part(320) checking the time for generating an initial rising edge; and an operation suspension part(330) halting the fan by the BLCD motor in case the time for generating the initial rising edge is longer than the predetermined time.
