<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous base material for a fuel cell, in which a porous board including a uniform gas path can be manufactured by an easy process at a low cost, and which hardly generates the breakage at the time of manufacture or use. <P>SOLUTION: The paper making of a composition for a porous base material containing a fiber material is carried out to prepare a sheet shape object 21 in a wetting state, a thermoplastic resin member is implanted in a portion for forming a gas path of the surface in the sheet shape object of a wetting state. In a next process, a temperature is made higher than the pour point of the thermoplastic resin member. Accordingly, the thermoplastic resin member is made to flow out to form the gas path; and the porous base material for a fuel cell is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
