摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a short circuit on the inside of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery without decreasing the capacity of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery by increasing tensile elongation of a positive electrode even when the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is collapsed by crushing. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode having a positive active material layer containing a positive active material and a binder on a positive current collector, a negative electrode, a porous insulating layer arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte.
