<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for improving wear-resistant characteristics and corrosion-resistant characteristics while restraining a drop of life caused by high Young's modulus. <P>SOLUTION: Balls 13 constituting an angular contact ball bearing 1 rotatably supporting a turbine shaft of a turbine pump against a member arranged to face the turbine shaft is indicated by a composition formula of Si<SB>6-z</SB>Al<SB>z</SB>O<SB>z</SB>N<SB>8-z</SB>. The ball has β-sialon fulfilling 0.1≤z≤3.5 as the main component, and is constituted by a sintered body made of impurities as the remnant.
