<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary bearing whose weight is reduced, and in which sliding abrasion and fretting damage are suppressed in a contact part between an rolling element and a bearing ring. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary bearing has an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, and a plurality of rolling elements 3 freely rolling between respective raceway surfaces 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b of these inner-outer rings 1 and 2. The rolling elements 3 are made of ceramic strong against impact resistance. The ceramic is constituted of a sintered body containing β sialon as main component and a residual part of an impurity, or a sintered body containing β sialon as main component, a residual part of a sintering aid and an impurity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
