<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a DC motor, capable of separately controlling the armature current and field current of the DC motor and also of uniformizing the heating of an armature winding and field winding. <P>SOLUTION: In the controller 1 for the DC motor, an armature current command signal S<SB>ia</SB>is determined so that the actual rotation speed of the DC motor M to be controlled becomes the rotation speed, corresponding to a speed command signal S<SB>v</SB>input from outside. Based on the determined signal, the current amount of the armature current I<SB>a</SB>is feedback controlled, and a temporary field current command signal S<SB>if</SB>corresponding to a speed detection signal S<SB>vd</SB>is determined, based on a predetermined relation. After that, the determined signal is compared with the armature current command signal S<SB>ia</SB>, and the signal commanding a less current amount of the two signals is set to be a field current command signal S<SB>iaf</SB>, so that the current amount of the field current I<SB>f</SB>is feedback-controlled based on the signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
