PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge coating device for the back surface side edge part of a mirror by which the uniform coating and the film thickness control of an edge coating film are carried out without the blurring of the edge coating film or the dripping of an edge coating liquid on a mirror end surface after the edge coating of the mirror edge part is carried out after the application of a back coating film in the continuous production of a back surface mirror. SOLUTION: The edge coating device for the back surface side edge part of the mirror 1, wherein the back surface side edge part is coated with the edge coating liquid by a coating roll 2 rotating while conveying the mirror 1 on which the back coating film is formed to face the back surface side on which the back coating film is formed upward and bringing into contact with the back side edge part from the upside, includes a coating liquid pick-up roll 3, an adjusting roll 4 and the coating roll 2 which are provided side by side to be linked and rotate.
