PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cutter for a fastening band capable of automatically cutting a fastened fastening band. SOLUTION: The automatic cutter A for the fastening band has a pair of support rollers 8 and 9 supporting a coil-like product C from the lower side, a drive device M1 rotating the same, an image sensor 12 detecting the tail end E, a fastening band cutter 3 cutting the fastening band B, and a controller 4 controlling these wherein when the controller 4 receives a detection signal of the tail end E from the image sensor 12, the controller positions the tail end E at a position where the tail end E just passed the support roller 9 to make the band cutter 3 cut the fastening band B automatically.
