摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely exhibit a restraint effect of stick slip noise by regulating a contact face pressure of a plate. SOLUTION: The bearing device for driving wheels includes: an outer ring 50 where double row outer raceway surfaces 52, 54 are formed on an inner circumference thereof; inner rings 20a, 20b each having a hub wheel 10 with a wheel attachment flange 14 on one end thereof and double row inner raceway surfaces 12, 22 on an outer circumference; and double row rolling elements 30, 40 interposed between the outer raceway surfaces 52, 54 of the outer ring 50 and the inner raceway surfaces 12, 22 of the inner rings 20a, 20b. In the bearing device where a stem part 66 extending from an external joint member 62 of a constant velocity universal joint 60 is pressed into a shaft hole of the hub wheel 10 to perform spline fitting, an annular plate 80a having prescribed slide characteristics by a surface coating is interposed between opposed surfaces of a shoulder part 61 of the external joint member 62 and an inboard side end part 24b of the inner ring 20b to reduce a contact surface pressure of the annular plate 80a to 3.0×10<SP>6</SP>Pa or less.
