The device (1) has an interconnect device (2) by which a safety isolating transformer (3) e.g. safety extra low voltage transformer, is held. The transformer has a primary winding (4) that is indirectly coupled with a supply voltage, and a secondary winding (5) that is coupled with connection terminals (10, 11) of a secondary electric circuit via simple insulated electrical wires (8, 9). An auxiliary body (18) is arranged on the interconnect device and made of an electrically insulating material. The connection terminals are arranged on the auxiliary body.
