PAVEMENT STRUCTURE

Provided is a pavement structure having a wide freedom for material selection and excellent maintainability. The pavement structure (1) comprises mainly a pavement body layer (2) forming a surface layer and a water supply device (3). The pavement body layer (2) is positioned nearest a ground surface side, and formed, for example, by spreading pavement blocks (20) having water-holding property. The pavement body layer (2) has slits opening to the pavement surface (2a). In this preferred embodiment, joints (25) between the pavement blocks (20) function as slits. A water supply tape (31) is a water supply means for supplying water to the pavement body layer (2), and buried in each of the joints (25).
