<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing apparatus capable of presenting the time during which a person included in a subject is detected from a moving image being captured. <P>SOLUTION: The image capturing apparatus 100 includes: an image sensor 23 which picks up the moving image of a subject to obtain imaging data; a database 28 for storing face recognition information for verification; and a face detection block 27 which recognizes the face of a person from the imaging data to generate face recognition information indicating features of the face of the person. When face recognition information matching the face recognition information generated by the face detection block 27 is detected from the database 28, an integration time detecting the face recognition information of the relevant person is clocked.
