摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ZnAlO-based thermoelectric conversion material improving a nondimensional thermoelectric figure of merit ZT. <P>SOLUTION: The n-type thermoelectric conversion material includes an aluminum containing zinc oxide expressed by a general composition formula: Zn<SB>1-x-y</SB>Al<SB>x</SB>Ga<SB>y</SB>O (note, 0.01&le;x&le;0.04, 0.01&le;y&le;0.03, 0.9&le;x/y&le;2.0). The ZT of &ge;0.6 can be obtained at 1,000&deg;C. Concurrently doping (co-dope) Al and Ga to ZnO substantially lessens thermal conductivity &kappa; with a large electric conductivity &sigma; kept to substantially improve the thermoelectric performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
