<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle detection apparatus for a vehicle, which improves reliability, while reducing increases in the complexity and size of its structure. <P>SOLUTION: Using the correlation between a steering angleθs output from the steering angle detection apparatus 10 for a vehicle and detection signals of a steering torque detection apparatus 11, a vehicle rotational angular speed detection apparatus 12, and a wheel speed detection apparatus 13, which are on-vehicle sensors normally installed in a vehicle, when a steering angleθs detected by the steering torque detection apparatus 11 deviates from a predetermined tolerance including a line indicating the correlation, it is determined that the vehicle steering angle detection apparatus 10 is faulty. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
