<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retrieve and provide software which achieves a target desired by a user and is available for a user having no special knowledge about the software. <P>SOLUTION: This software providing device includes a retrieving means for retrieving, based on information on the target, instance data corresponding to information on the user's target desired by the user from a plurality of instance data including the information on the target achieved using predetermined software, a software identifier for specifying the software, and information on a place where the software is used, a refining means for refining the software identifier for achieving the user's target by calculating the similarity between the information on the place of the retrieved instance data and the information on the place specified by the user, and a providing means for providing the information on the software specified by the refined software identifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
