摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image photographing system configured to automatically adjust a congestion angle with a subject at a desired position in a photographed image (at an angle of view of photographing) as an object to be watched by enabling a user to designate the subject at the desired position as the object to be watched in the stereoscopic image photographing system where two photographing cameras are disposed side by side for photographing a stereoscopic image of the subject as the object to be watched. <P>SOLUTION: Two photographing cameras L and R can be rotated horizontally by an L-camera angle driving mechanism 12 and an R-camera driving mechanism 14. A congestion angle, that is an angle at which optical axes of the cameras L and R cross each other can be changed. On the other hand, a watch object instructing means 52 can designate a subject defined as an object to be watched by a user in a photographed image which is photographed by the camera L and an image processing section 50 captures photographed images of the cameras L and R and detects a position of the object to be watched instructed by the watch object designating means 52 in these photographed images, and a CPU 30 adjusts the congestion angle by rotating the camera R through a motor 22 so as to match positions of the object to be watched in both the photographed images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
