<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control system which includes a space utilized by a user when the stopped user changes an advancing direction and can adjust illumination in the advancing direction of the user, lighting-up, and lighting intensity and can secure safety of the user by lighting out the illumination excluding the advancing direction of the user and can attain power-saving. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A radio node 21 carried by the user comprises a first control section 22, a first radio section 23, a first memory section 25, and a direction detection means 24. Radio communication is carried out with a lighting device by detecting advancing direction information of the radio node 21 by the direction detection means 24 in order to perform lighting-up of the illumination, adjustment for lighting intensity, and lighting-out.
