<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner surely adapted to an installation environment and satisfying reference target energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A target characteristic derivation method includes a first process for computing a thermal load based on thermal load information on the installation environment of the air conditioner, a second process for deriving the target energy consumption of the air conditioner based on the reference on the consumed energy of the air conditioner separately from the first process, and a third process for deriving target characteristics of the air conditioner capable of processing the thermal load computed in the first process within the target energy consumption computed in the second process using an optimization method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
