<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC converter device, capable of reducing the cases where a primary voltage exceeds the operation guaranteeing voltage of an auxiliary machine connected to a first power supply unit side, when stoppage of driving of a switching element is released. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the DC/DC converter device, an overvoltage protection release threshold Vpr1 for releasing the overvoltage protection with respect to a primary side, i.e. the stoppage of voltage conversion, in a DC/DC converter due to the stoppage of driving of an arm-switching element is set to one lower than the voltage limit threshold V1LMTH for shifting to a voltage limit mode (Vpr1<V1LMTH).
