<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home security device to be operated without panic by following security guidance without disposing, at a front door, a switch for operating a crime/disaster prevention alarm function. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a user goes out, the user inserts a security key 6 carried by him/her into a key slot 5. Then, a control section determines existence of abnormality such as opening of a door and a cutting failure of a switch based on the detection state of a sensor. When there is no abnormality, the control section reads the ID of the security key and reads the time of the person of the corresponding ID from times of respective IDs stored in memory, and sets this as the delay time.
